Our U12s started their season with East league games at Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh yesterday morning. Fielding three teams, our players headed out with lots of enthusiasm.

The Kings started out strongly in Division B with two good wins over Gullane Falcons and Grange Jaguars. They had some good runs on attack and adjusted well to playing with five outfield players and Ava in goals.

This was the first time most of our players in the Comets and Coyotes have played in East league and they settled well and enjoyed the morning.

The Comets got beat by Grange Leopards in their first game in division D, working hard in both defence and attack. They came back determined and got a win over Cala Blue in their second game.

The Coyotes enjoyed their first game against Falkirk & Linlithgow in division E and came out as winners in a closely fought game. They lost their second game to a strong ESM Stingrays team.

All teams improved performances over the morning and we look forward to see how they progress over the season. Well done everybody - great efforts!
